We are pleased to announce that effective Monday, February 25, 2013; Angelo DeMarco has been promoted to the position of Vice President of Sales. We welcome Angelo to the senior management team of Tailwind Associates as he continues to provide strategic leadership and coordination of the sales function and team.

We are pleased to announce the start of Pat Pettengill, who joins us as the new Southeast Senior Account Executive. Pat is from Tega Cay in SC on the border of NC, just a few golf drives from our office in SouthPark Center.

Pat is a seasoned staffing and recruitment industry professional with over 30 years’ experience in driving recruitment and delivery of IT staffing services to companies across the United States.

He is highly knowledgeable in all areas of staffing and talent acquisition to include: Contract Staffing, Professional Services Consulting, Retained Search, Contingent Search and RPO.

He is an engaged business developer who has a very solid footprint in the Charlotte market.

Pat will be working with Angelo DeMarco and the sales team to expand business and our presence in the Charlotte, NC area, servicing the Southeast Region.

It has recently come to our attention that an individual or individuals have been fraudulently impersonating him/herself as a Tailwind hiring manager, looking to fill an Administrative Assistant position in the NYC and Washington DC areas. This is a scam, commonly known as a spearfishing attack. These are not legitimate Tailwind positions.

The only legitimate Tailwind email address is @tailwindassoc.com, not @gmail, @yahoo or any other address.

We do not interview potential candidates via instant messenger nor would we, under any circumstances, request that anyone open a Quick Pay account in lieu of hire.

Tailwind has been working with local State and Federal Law enforcement agencies to rectify this situation. If you have been approached or contacted by these people, please contact Tailwind Associates at 1-800-724-8871 so we can report the incident to the proper authorities.
