This position will perform software tests on new, enhanced and fixed Child Support application features before they are released. This position will design Test Plans based on software specifications, execute manual and automated regression tests of new functions and perform application defect testing. Testing may include application code, middleware code, templates and database tables.

Mandatory:

• Two-year college degree
• One year experience using industry-standard automated software testing tools.
• Two years experience in a system testing environment using industry standard load performance testing software and defect tracking software, including test case and scenario development, validation and reporting through the use of software testing tools.

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher
2. Minimum three years experience designing, developing and executing Test Plans based on software specification for a web-based application in a large, complex and diverse Human Services delivery system. Experience with Child Support systems is preferred.
Minimum five years experience with functional and regression testing. Additional experience with load and performance testing preferred. Experience should include documenting and implementing test strategies, identifying Test Cases, interpreting Use Cases in Unified Modeling Language, writing and executing Test Scripts and identifying and analyzing application problems.
Minimum three years experience using industry standard testing tools to write manual and automated Test Scripts. Experience with HP Quality Center and Quick Test Pro (QTP) is preferred.
Minimum three years experience using industry standard tools to record and track defects and documenting and communicating defects to technical staff. Experience with Rational ClearQuest or HP Quality Center is preferred.
